The key architecture decision was to avoid replacing mature hospitality infrastructure too early. Existing marketplaces and PMS tools continue to own inventory truth. The website owns brand, trust, guest education, and the path toward direct reservations.

Building guest trust

Vacation rental software has to reduce uncertainty. Photography, transparent copy, simple navigation, and beach-focused branding carry as much weight as the booking mechanics.

Avoiding double booking

Inventory sync is a business-critical failure mode. The current strategy keeps commercial PMS software in the reservation loop while the direct site matures.

Incremental scope control

The roadmap is phased so each step has standalone value: brand, booking, guest experience, then automation.
